- Judge Cristina Perez , host of FOX's Cristina’s Court , and author of the book Living by Los Dichos has been renewed for her third season of the show (also in syndication) and recently won a Daytime Emmy Award in the new "Best Legal/Courtroom Program" category. Congratulations to everyone at Cristina's Court!
- Rufus Hannah (of "Bum Fights" fame; associated with client Barry Soper) was presented with the California Association of Human Relations Organization's Civil Rights Award in January 2008. He received the award for his work on behalf of the homeless, including a pilot program in California that will register the homeless to vote. The program is the first ever of its kind.
